What is Sketchbug?

Sketchbug is a simple online sketching app. You can draw on a canvas, save sketches to your personal library, reopen them later, and export your work when you need it.

Is Sketchbug free?

Yes. Sketchbug offers a free plan with core drawing tools and a limited amount of storage. Pro is an optional paid plan with unlimited storage, no ads, and additional features.

How much storage do I get on the free plan?

Free accounts include 10 MB of storage for saved sketches. If you reach that limit, you'll need to delete sketches, duplicate less often, or upgrade to Pro for unlimited storage.

What does Pro include?

Pro includes unlimited storage, no advertisements, and full access to sketching tools and exports. Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription.

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Sign in to your account and click the upgrade option in the app. Checkout is handled securely through Stripe. Once payment is complete, Pro features are applied to your account automatically.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. Premium users can open the account menu, choose Manage Plan, and cancel at any time. If you cancel, you'll keep Pro until the end of your current billing period. You can also continue your subscription before that period ends if you change your mind.

What happens if I switch between monthly and yearly Pro?

Plan changes take effect on your next billing date — not immediately. For example, if you are billed monthly on the 13th and switch to yearly, your yearly plan starts on the 13th. You won't be charged twice for the switch.

Are my sketches saved automatically?

Sketches are saved when you save them to your library from the editor. You can also adjust auto-save preferences in your account settings.

Do I own my sketches?

Yes. You retain ownership of the content you create. Sketchbug stores and displays your sketches only so the service can work. See our Terms of Service for more detail.

Can I share sketches with others?

Yes. Sketchbug supports sharing sketches with other users. Shared sketches appear in the recipient's inbox, where they can accept or decline them.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings from the account menu and use the delete account option in the danger zone. This permanently removes your account and associated data, subject to our data retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

What is Brush Hub?

Brush Hub is where you create custom brushes, share them with the community, and save favorites from other artists. Saved brushes appear in the sketch editor brush panel. Unlike most pro art software, sharing is built in — not a separate marketplace or file exchange. Learn more about Brush Hub.

What is Font Hub?

Font Hub lets you upload .ttf, .otf, .woff, and .woff2 files, share them with the community, and use your library fonts when you add text to a sketch. Learn more about Font Hub.

How do I report a bug?

Use the Report a bug link in the app footer or library header. You can also email support@sketchbug.art. Include steps to reproduce the issue if you can — it helps us fix things faster.

How do I contact support?

Email us at support@sketchbug.art. We're happy to help with account, billing, and technical questions.
