These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sketchbug at sketchbug.art and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Sketchbug is an online sketching tool that lets you create, save, organize, and export drawings in a personal library. Some features require a paid subscription.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@sketchbug.art if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the sketches and other content you create (“User Content”). You grant Sketchbug a limited license to host, store, process, and display your User Content only as needed to operate the Service — for example, saving files, generating thumbnails, and showing your library to you.
You represent that you have the rights to upload and use your User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
- Upload malware or attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service
- Impersonate others or access accounts without permission
- Circumvent storage limits, payment requirements, or other technical restrictions
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a risk to the Service or other users.
5. Free and Pro plans
Free accounts include limited storage and may display advertisements. Pro subscriptions provide additional features such as increased storage and an ad-free experience, as described at the time of purchase.
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until canceled. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; access to Pro features continues through the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated during checkout.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Sketchbug reliable, but the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sketchbug is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your content will never be lost. You are encouraged to keep backups of important work.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sketchbug and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) USD $50.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice — for example, by email or an in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
